Voyons is an independent Canadian evidence project operated by a Canadian individual who has chosen not to publish their identity. We recognize that anonymity removes one way readers might assess credibility, so the project is designed to make the work itself auditable.
Identity
The operator is Canadian. Their personal name and identifying details are not published.
Voyons does not ask readers to trust a résumé, title, or public profile. Instead, readers should be able to inspect the claim, follow the evidence, see the level of confidence, and understand how the verdict was reached.
Independence
Voyons does not claim endorsement by a government, political party, campaign, newsroom, university, research institute, or advocacy organization unless that relationship is explicitly disclosed here.
No third-party audit or institutional endorsement is currently claimed.
Funding and outside support
Any material outside funding, sponsorship, grant support, institutional hosting, or other relationship that could reasonably matter to readers will be disclosed publicly on this page.
Use of AI
Voyons uses AI-assisted tools for research discovery, organization, comparison, and drafting.
AI output is not evidence. A verdict must be supported by external sources under the same evidence standards described in the Methodology. Primary and authoritative evidence is preferred for the factual baseline, and uncertainty is preserved when the available evidence does not justify a stronger conclusion.
What readers can audit
For public checks, Voyons aims to disclose:
- the specific factual claim being assessed;
- where the claim appeared, when a reliable provenance link is available;
- the strongest evidence used to verify the factual baseline;
- the verdict and confidence level;
- what is genuinely true in the claim;
- what is false, unsupported, incomplete, or context-dependent;
- the last review date; and
- material corrections.
External review
Voyons welcomes independent scrutiny of its published methodology and fact checks. If a sample of checks or the methodology is independently reviewed in the future, the reviewer, scope, findings, and any resulting corrections will be disclosed here.
